SketchUp File Management 0.3.3 – Official Beta Launch Today (April 8, 2025)

After a period of development and thorough testing, the BOC File Management plugin will officially be available to everyone as a Beta version this month.

The plugin has been tested across various types of SketchUp files, from residential houses and villas to large-scale showroom projects, and has proven stable and reliable.

It’s designed to help break down workloads, streamline task distribution, and make teamwork smoother within SketchUp environments.

Key Features:

- Save Selected: You can easily split a master file into smaller working files, making it simple to assign zones or tasks to different team members.

- Smart Import: Choose and filter objects to import based on type or name, whether from any SketchUp file or those saved with this plugin.

- Precise Reimporting: Safely re-import work into the main model at the exact original position, without worrying about file conflicts or misalignment when multiple people are involved.

- Xref Scene: Link and manage external SketchUp files (Xrefs) visually and intuitively. Break the master model into parts for each teammate to work on separately. Once done, everything can be synced back into the main file without interfering with others’ work. Perfect for distributing workload and tracking progress. Quickly update or revise any part without the risk of mismanaging task boundaries.
